ARKANSAS
Lake Dardanelle State Park is located in two areas on Lake Dardanelle, a 34,300-acre reservoir on the Arkansas River. The campground is located in the Russellville area. There are 57 campsites mostly of which are waterfront sites. This campground is located a little over an hour northeast of Little Rock and just outside of the Ozark National Forest. This Lake hosts fishing tournaments - in fact we got to witness all of the competing fishermen weighing their catches one day. It was pretty cool! You can book your stay or read more about Lake Dardanelle State park here.

WHAT WE THINK
-
Facilities were great. The Playground was well maintained along with the swimming beach. The nature center had a great program for the kids and the sunsets over the lake were amazing.

We stayed at Site 6
A gradual hill to the lake off the back. Wooded, and the view was amazing. Roads are paves for bikes and scooters.
