Fort Morgan
National Historic Landmark
Just a short drive down Fort Morgan Rd (AL 180) and you will arrive at this beautiful historic landmark. While Steve worked, the kids and I walked the grounds and read about all the battles that took place here. I especially loved taking in all the architecture!

Fort Morgan Public Boat Launch
and Gulf Shores Beach
Gulf Shores Beach was a fun place to go with the kids, but the waves were a little rough there at times. Parking in that area was a little tougher too since most of the parking was for the houses along the coast.
Right outside of Fort Morgan is the public boat launch. There’s access to a much smaller beach that is less choppy if you’re wanting something more calm.
Deep Sea Fishing with Wild Orange Charters
Steve took the boys deep sea fishing with Wild Orange Charters while were were there.
